CAT 2009 :- Success Capsule

You must have heard the quote “Everything is in Mind”,do you believe it? If not, then today I will try to make you believe, that, it is indeed true! How??? OK, let me first tell you that it is your mind that governs the actions of your body.

To understand it let us take an example, suppose a person is walking in the park and he sees something like snake and thinks in his mind “Oh God!!! This is snake!” What happens to him. Within a fraction of second the message is propagated to the rest of mind and body. Whole body knows about the danger and prepare itself to face the danger. His heart rate increases ,breathing becomes faster, blood pressure increases and person is ready to fight or run away Or take another example, you see your favourite sweets at desk and suddenly your mouth is filled with saliva.

What is happening? Your body is acting as per the suggestion provided by your mind. In summary, we can say your mind conveys your thoughts and beliefs to your body. If you think “I will achieve Success”, your mind prepares your body for success and pushes it towards success. On the contrary, if you think negative “I will fail”, your mind tells your body “do not even try, there is no chance to success”.

So what is important for achieving success in exam is to create a positive attitude and powerful empowering beliefs.Many of us operate from fear of failure and not from the desire to succeed. When you are happy or you believe in achieving success that thought is conveyed to your whole body. Your body becomes more energetic and less tired. If you are unhappy and sad, your body is slow, dull, and tired and you are just not able to give your hundred percent on Examination day. Exams are not the destination,but just the journey. Enjoying the journey is as important as reaching the destination.

So believe in the power of your mind! believe in yourself! and believe in your best companion to your success
